About the Show

The Whiskey Throttle Show features long-form interviews with legends of the motocross and action sports world. Designed as a YouTube program, but also available on podcast, the show takes viewers on a ride through the life and career of the guests. The face-to-face format brings out stories and details in the guest’s lives that have often never before been shared, creating a unique experience for fans as they get to know these icons in a way they never could have before.

While most of the shows are recorded on a closed set, the Troy Lee Designs Saloon opens up occasionally to the public for a live session. The $25 donation for entry goes to Road2Recovery to help injured athletes. The live shows allow fans to chat with their heroes in a relaxed setting before they watch the show itself.

The Whiskey Throttle Show is the creation of former professional motocross racer, former color analyst, former race team manager, magazine editor, and current full-time firefighter/paramedic with the San Bernardino County Fire Department, David Pingree.

Ping’s co-host is former World Champion, former 125 national champion, former 250 east and west supercross champion, 450 national motocross champion and Supermoto Unlimited national champion, Grant Langston.

The show’s producer is Donnie Bales, friend of Ping and GL, and producer of each of their instructional riding videos, respectively. Donnie is a long-time fan of the sport and he has a knowledge of the sport’s history that very few can match.
